About the course

This course was developed to help and support aspiring fashion designers and fashion enthusiasts to sketch and design their own garments.

This course was created for those who already know how to create a cohesive collection but would like to learn how to draw their own designs.

Sketching is presented in almost every aspect of design in the fashion industry as designers must be able to sketch their own ideas in order to communicate them effectively.

Happy Students

"I chose both courses because I wanted to improve my techniques in illustrating and creating collections. From the (Fashion Sketching) course I learned the best way to match colours, types of fabrics, etc. Thanks to these courses I have improved my techniques and created a lot of neat and clean work whilst being technical with both colours and silhouettes. I appreciate it. Thank You."

Tais found her love for fashion at a very young age; Inspired by designers Dior, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Isabel Marant, Lanvin and Stella McCartney, she began her education on all things fashion.

Originally from Brazil, Tais moved to Milan in 2008 where she attended the Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan for 3 years, graduating with a Graduate Degree in Fashion Design, a Post Graduate in Fashion Design Womenswear and a Post Graduate in Pattern making Womenswear.

After completing her studies, she spent 6 months interning at OVS where she refined her craft and found her style, before being taken on in a full-time capacity.

Inspired by nature, history and architecture, Tais has designed over 50 collections in collaboration with brands that span a wide spectrum of styles, including ETRO, Camilla and Sass and Bide.

In 2017, after having spent her career working with and learning from high profile fashion houses across Italy and Australia, Tais decided that she was ready to create something that was just hers; She set out on her own, and B Design Studio was born.
