My name is Tais. I'm a highly creative fashion designer who is passionate about fashion illustration and creative development.
B Design Founder, Tais, found her love for fashion at a very young age; Inspired by designers Dior, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Isabel Marant, Lanvin and Stella McCartney, she began her education on all things fashion. Tais would spend her spare time reading books about influential designers, textiles & accents, sewing techniques and fashion history.
Tais moved to Milan in 2008 where she attended the Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan for 3 years, graduating with a Graduate Degree in Fashion Design, a Post Graduate in Fashion Design Womenswear and a Post Graduate in Pattern making Womenswear.
After completing her studies, she spent 6 months interning at OVS where she refined her craft and found her style, before being taken on in a full-time capacity.
Inspired by nature, history and architecture, Tais has designed over 50 collections in collaboration with brands that span across a wide spectrum of styles, including ETRO, Camilla and Sass and Bide.
In the early days of her career, Tais spent hours and hours perfecting her skills and knowledge on every stage of the design journey, from creating mood boards and fashion croquis, to building colour palettes, selecting fabrics, drawing technical sketches and producing design sheets; She believes that it takes time and dedication to the craft to become a designer that stands out from the pack.
In 2017, after having spent her career working with and learning from high profile fashion houses across Italy and Australia, Tais decided that she was ready to create something that was just hers; She set out on her own, and B Design Studio was born.
The fashion industry considers fashion sketches as
FINE ART.
There is an authentic signature style to a hand sketch individual to each designer.
